Wanted: A wingman / wingwoman for Michael – Executive Assistant & Junior Product Manager (m/f/d)


Moin, I'm Maximilian. I am the Managing Director of the Summstoff beekeepers' cooperative. We are growing, we are successful and we have plans. Today, though, I am not looking for someone for myself, but for my father: Michael.

The situation: Michael is a key part of our team and acts as our creative engine. Anyone who knows him knows: he is an entrepreneur through and through. In his life he has founded and supported many companies  – many of them very successfully. But he has also fallen down, got back up and gathered his experience. He is the creative mind who constantly delivers new impulses. He brings a huge treasure trove of experience, which he draws on and likes to pass on.

How he ticks (the “user manual”): Whether you call it ADHD or simply an “entrepreneurial nature”: he has that typical racing mind. He is brilliant, solves problems extremely fast and kicks off projects with 150% energy.

But: he is a sprinter, not a marathon runner. Once the creative spark has jumped and it comes to the hard graft, his mind is often already on the next project. For his ideas (and he has plenty of them!) to really hit the road, he needs you.

He is not looking for a babysitter. He is looking for a wingman or wingwoman who takes over where his energy runs out: with implementation, structure and detail.


Your mission (no matter where from):

  • 100% remote & digital: It does not matter where you sit, as long as you are in our time zone and your internet is stable. You communicate by video, phone and messenger. You do not have to sit next to him to have his back. You listen to him well and for a long time, because he cannot do short. 
  • Junior product manager & sourcing: He has the idea, you put it into practice. You research suppliers worldwide, obtain quotes and together you prepare deals. You learn the entire process from idea to launch.
  • The “finisher”: You protect him from his loose ends. When he loses interest (usually at the last 20%), you take over and finish the project.
  • Gatekeeper: You organise his chaos. You keep an eye on deadlines, maintain contacts and make sure operational things (Excel, appointments, organisation) simply work. 

What you bring:

  • Entrepreneur DNA: You do not want to remain “just” an employee forever. You are looking for a mentor who shows you how to build companies, sell products and be successful.
  • Digital competence: Since you work remotely, you need to be fit in digital tools (Zoom, project management tools, AI). You use AI (ChatGPT & Co.) to be faster than the rest.
  • Resilience & understanding: Michael is direct, fast and sometimes demanding. You do not take his moods personally, but know: that is the price for the knowledge you soak up here.
  • Structure and a sense of order: You are organised, even when nobody is looking over your shoulder. Where he creates chaos, you bring structure. You get satisfaction from ticking off the things he leaves lying around.
  • Loyalty & grit: No task is beneath you. You know: to be at the top yourself later, you have to learn the trade from the bottom up.
