FRUCHTSTOFF Gooseberry is light, tart-fresh and pleasantly sour. It is one of the more distinctive varieties and stands out clearly from the sweet classics. With 67% fruit the delicate tang of the gooseberry is preserved, and 10% honey cushions it softly.
On bread or rolls, gooseberry tastes fresh and lively. It goes especially well with quark, natural yoghurt and cream cheese, where the tang cuts through the creaminess. It is also an unusual but convincing choice with cheese and savoury dishes.
