Summer blossom honey is the honey of warm days: rounder, more floral and a little fuller than early spring blossom honey. Meadows, herbs, field margins, gardens and later blossoms all come together here. As a result the honey does not taste one-dimensional, but pleasantly soft, floral and balanced.
Hesse stands for orchard meadows, valleys, woodland edges, gardens and warm locations. The honeys often seem rounded and yet have a clear origin.
This summer blossom honey from Hesse suits bread and rolls, but also works very well in quark, muesli or on pancakes. If you want honey not just as sweetness but as real flavour on the breakfast table, you are in the right place. It is easygoing enough for every day and still has enough floral depth not to seem arbitrary.
