  • 500 g flour (type 405)
  • 1 sachet dried yeast (7 g)
  • 250 ml lukewarm milk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 60 g soft butter
  • 1 egg

  3. For the filling, mix 50 g soft butter with 3 tbsp acacia honey, cinnamon and cardamom and spread over the dough.
  4. Roll up the dough from the long side and cut into 12 slices of equal width.
  5. Place the swirls in a greased tin, leaving a little space between them, and leave to rise for a further 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (conventional) and bake the swirls for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Warm the remaining 2 tbsp acacia honey slightly and brush it over the warm swirls.
