Spring Blossom Honey Porridge with Pear

Ingredients

  • 80 g fine rolled oats
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 ripe pear
  • 2 tbsp spring blossom honey
  • 20 g hazelnuts
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Method

  1. Put the oats, milk and a pinch of salt into a saucepan.
  2. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, then simmer over a low heat for about 5 to 8 minutes, until the porridge is creamy.
  3. Wash the pear, remove the core and cut into small cubes.
  4. Roughly chop the hazelnuts and toast briefly in a dry pan.
  5. Remove the porridge from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Stir in the spring blossom honey, so its aroma is preserved.
  7. Spoon the porridge into bowls, sprinkle with the pear cubes, hazelnuts and cinnamon, and serve.
