Rapeseed honey and soy marinade for pork fillet

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed honey
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 600 g pork fillet

Method

  1. Mix the soy sauce, rapeseed honey, oil, garlic, ginger and rice vinegar together in a bowl.
  2. Stir the honey in thoroughly until it has fully dissolved.
  3. Season with pepper; thanks to the soy sauce, extra salt usually isn't needed.
  4. Place the pork fillet in the marinade and coat it all over.
  5. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight.
  6. Before frying, let the meat drain and keep the marinade aside for glazing later.
